The Art of the Colourist: Gwyn Evans
Editing Workshop with John Richards, Band of Brothers
VFX Compositing with Ian Murphy, Green Zone
SFX Workshop : Tom Harris
Cinematography Workshop with Nic Morris BSC. This is supported by the BSC, (The British Society of Cinematographers) and will cover origination using 35mm / Super 16mm Film and HD formats.
On Friday 25th May for £50 there are 8 places on each of three ‘Shooting a Short Film’ practical courses. A BSC Cinematographer will mentor delegates on use of three high-end HD cameras: Arri Alexa, Red, Panasonic, to a script provided in advance. The Encounters Short Film & Animation Film Festival will waive the entry fees for these 3 films if the ‘teams’ wish to enter them into the September 2012 Festival. This special event is supported by Creative Skillset, the BSC and Encounters.
There will also be equipment demonstrations, screenings and Q&As with BSC Cinematographers all weekend.
